Lion Electric heralds 10 million miles driven for its vehicles. More than 600 Lion vehicles have hit the road since 2016.

Lion Electric Co., a maker of electric vehicles including school buses, has announced that its on-the-road vehicles have achieved a landmark 10 million miles driven to date.

The company put its first all-electric school buses in the United States in operation in 2016 and now Lion Electric has more than 600 vehicles traveling the roads throughout North America.

"Reaching 10 million miles is a major achievement for Lion and we're excited to be able to celebrate this here at Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, where industry stakeholders can see our vehicles firsthand," said Marc Bedard, Lion Electric's CEO and founder. "Our significant real-world experience means that Lion is able to design and deliver the highest quality zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles on the market, purpose-built from the ground up to be electric."

The company's ACT Expo displays include:

  • * LionC All-Electric Type C school bus

  • * Lion6 Aluminum Platform Body (in partnership with CM Truck Beds)

  • * Lion6 Electrified Refrigerated Concept (in partnership with Morgan Truck Body and Thermo King)
