Monroe Township Public Schools and Westampton Township Public Schools also adopted Transfinder technology earlier this year.

According to the company, its Routefinder PLUS software helps New Jersey districts prepare the District Report of Transported Resident Students (DRTRS), a required state transportation report used to determine state aid.

Transportation Management Tools

In addition to Routefinder PLUS, some districts selected other Transfinder products, including Stopfinder, a parent communication app; Wayfinder, a driver app; Tripfinder, a field trip management tool; Servicefinder, a fleet and inventory management platform; and Viewfinder, which provides an overview of district transportation operations. Transfinder Hardware was also among the products selected.

Transfinder President and CEO Antonio Civitella said the company's existing relationships with districts in both states provide opportunities for transportation departments to exchange best practices.

“As school transportation requirements become more complex, Transfinder’s solutions have not only kept up with growing needs but anticipated where the future of transportation is headed,” Civitella said.
