School bus manufacturer Blue Bird has named October Alternative Power Month as part of a marketing campaign celebrating its successes in alternative fuels and power, such as propane, compressed natural gas, and electric.
Blue Bird is hosting webinars and contests related to its alternative-power offerings throughout the month of October, the school bus manufacturer said in a memo to its dealers last week.
Below are details on Blue Bird's upcoming webinars:
• Propane walk-around — Zoom with Facebook Live cross-share with Adam Wilkum of Roush CleanTech on Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
• Electric Vehicle Chassis walk-around with Q & A — Zoom with Facebook Live cross-share with Hinton Harrison of Blue Bird on Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
• V2G Webinar Event - Zoom with Facebook Live cross-share with experts from Nuuve and Rhombus on Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
In addition, Blue Bird hosted an Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive Event on Zoom with Facebook Live cross-share with Hinton Harrison of Blue Bird on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
