Malinda Sandhu brings more than 10 years of industry experience to electric school bus manufacturer The Lion Electric Co.

Electric school bus manufacturer The Lion Electric Co. has appointed Malinda Sandhu director of sales.
Sandhu has worked in the student transportation industry for more than a decade. According to Lion, she is widely recognized as an expert in vehicle surveillance systems, implementation, and training with a relationship-driven sales approach.
“Malinda brings unmatched energy and experience to our sales organization and will be an important part of electrifying the USA,” said Nate Baguio, Lion’s vice president of sales. “She has a passion and commitment for bringing technologies that matter most to her customers and the students that ride the bus.”
Sandhu has been a guest speaker at industry conferences, introducing transportation professionals to new developments in school bus technology. Since 2009, she worked to grow market share for a school bus surveillance system manufacturer.
“Malinda’s expertise and knowledge of the school bus industry will be instrumental to continue Lion’s tremendous growth across the United States, more specifically in California and the West Coast,” said Peter Rego, Lion’s chief commercial officer USA.
Sandhu added that she is “excited for this opportunity to join an industry-leading team in a space that is undeniably our future: clean, zero-emissions vehicles. … I’ll have the chance to accelerate Lion’s growth through my experience, continue to be on a winning team, while doing my part in offering clean transportation across North America.”
