PORTERVILLE, Calif. — Electric bus manufacturer GreenPower Motor Co. has received an order for a total of 100 electric buses, 10 of which are school buses, from Creative Bus Sales.
Brendan Riley, president of GreenPower, said that Creative’s order is the largest to date for GreenPower.
Creative Bus Sales and GreenPower have been working together for months on training and joint sales calls, said Tony Matijevich, president of Creative Bus Sales. The dealership recently signed a three-year agreement with GreenPower.
Creative's order for the 100 buses over 18 months includes 15 buses for inventory and demonstration — 10 Synapse electric school buses and five EV Star electric shuttle buses — that are already on order with the manufacturer. The other 85 buses on order are low-floor transit buses, Fraser Atkinson, chairman and executive director of GreenPower, told SBF.
Additionally, GreenPower’s vehicles will soon be listed on the Creative Bus Sales website.
