Cummins Adds New Partners for EV Charging Solutions
The engine company's agreements with Heliox, OpConnect, Autel, and The Mobility House will support customers' transition to electric vehicle adoption and infrastructure through new products and aftermarket support.

All EV charger products and solutions are available through Cummins’ North America distribution network and are supported by Cummins’ service network, helping customers determine which solution is right for them, as well as providing maintenance and service.

Two years ago, engine manufacturer Cummins teamed up with Heliox, a fast-charging solutions supplier, to support the sale and service of EV chargers in North America. It was its first step into the EV charging solutions space.
Now, Cummins announces even more partners in this same space to expand its capabilities. It now has written agreements with OpConnect, Autel, and The Mobility House, as well as expanded offerings with Heliox (A Siemens Business).
“In our original partnership announcement, we stated that Cummins has a storied history of building innovative partnerships that combine strengths to create incremental value for our customers, and that has not changed,” said Zach Gillen, VP of distribution business sales and service North America. “We are excited to work with each of our new partners in the EV charging space to provide a wide range of products and services to better serve customers who rely on battery electric technology today, and support those who are looking to transition to EV technology in the future.”
Details of the New Partnerships
OpConnect
OpConnect is a minority and veteran-owned company on a mission to make the installation and management of electric vehicle charging accessible and efficient. It brings Cummins Adapta, a digital tool that monitors, manages, and optimizes EV charging operations. This was created in partnership with OpConnect to be a valuable asset for any EV charger owner and provides important insights into the performance of the EV chargers.
The agreement brings charging equipment that is network-enabled with Cummins Adapta. These chargers are versatile, designed for public spaces and commercial fleets. They are rugged and compact, suitable for all weather conditions, available in single and three-phase, and compatible with smart software solutions.
Autel
The agreement with Autel brings a broad range of level 2 EV chargers and level 3 EV chargers that now offer public point of sale systems. The AC chargers range from 9.6 kW to 19.2 kW output power with flexible amperages capabilities. The DC chargers range from 40 kW to 640 kW output power and come in various installation configurations, including mobile, compact, all-in-one, and hi-power distributed systems.
Each charger included in the Autel agreement is designed to be an efficient, intelligent solution that customers should find easy to implement and use. These products greatly expand Cummins' range of solutions for EV customers.
The Mobility House
The Mobility House is an EV charging technology company focused on shaping the future of energy and mobility. Now, it brings a reseller agreement, allowing Cummins to offer ChargePilot, a smart charging and energy management system that charges electric vehicles in a reliable, easy, and affordable way.
The ChargePilot platform manages charging for 2,500+ fleets, allowing customers to remotely manage multiple charging stations via a web portal. Customers can distribute and manage available charging power, including charging stations by different manufacturers, track data with automatic cloud backups, and integrate with on-site distributed energy resources from Cummins for microgrid solutions, diesel or natural gas generators, battery energy storage systems, and solar power.
Heliox
The original agreement with Heliox brought a mobile 50 kW charger and a stationary 180 kW charger. Today, Now, the partnership includes the expanded full Flex family of charging systems, which includes 180 kW and 360 kW power outputs continuing with both plug and pantograph dispensing options. The agreement also includes a new single charging platform that offers 30 kW, 60 kW, and 44 kW bi-directional that can be ordered in wall, pedestal, and mobile configurations pending model.
Both Heliox and Cummins sales and service have also solidified expanded aftermarket support for both brands through warranty services activation of Cummins technicians across U.S. and Canada.
