Winning entries in the 17th edition of School Bus Fleet’s Photo Contest reflect striking landscapes and the big yellow bus in nearly all seasons. These shots were selected from 66 total entries by SBF staff.


Spirits are high among students, school district staff, and drivers, as these photos capture special moments ranging from parades to sunrises and rainbows, to fun bus decorations, awards, unveilings, and donations.

Operations nationwide get creative this season amid pandemic restrictions, with decorated buses and trees, virtual student participation in a parade, and story time with "Santa."


Transportation teams in Connecticut and Virginia celebrate Thanksgiving by giving back to their communities, while one district in Texas hosts an annual staff appreciation event.


JFK Transportation in Santa Ana recently held a “Paint A Bus” contest with the theme “2020 Through the Eyes of a Student” and created wraps of the winning artwork for some of its buses.


School bus evacuation drills, a drive-by parade, and special bus driver shout-outs marked NAPT’s National School Bus Safety Week.
