Marybeth Kubinski, a bus safety specialist from Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) Schools, gave tours of the bus safety exhibit at the state fair.

"It is so important for people to learn about school bus safety because it's the most used type of transportation that students use to get to/from school," she said.
