Appreciation for pupil transporters abounded nationwide during Love the Bus month, with sweet treats, masks and hand sanitizer, certificates, and profiles detailing the extra contributions of some drivers during the pandemic.

Management and senior staff at the Orange County (Fla.) Public Schools transportation department thanked employees for their hard work and gave them certificates of appreciation, along with bags of goodies that included masks, hand sanitizers, and some snacks.

The Arizona district also showed appreciation for transportation staff with a sweet treat: heart-shaped donuts. Local bus dealer Canyon State Bus Sales supported this and other Kyrene School District Love the Bus events.
