FULLERTON, Calif. — Yokohama Tire Corp. will adjust prices of its commercial truck and bus tires, effective May 1, due to increases in raw material, manufacturing and transportation costs.
Company officials said that an increase of up to 5 percent in the prices for truck and bus tires has become unavoidable and necessary in order to equalize the rising costs.
In-line adjustments are also slated and will be announced at a later date.
