Tyler Technologies names senior VP for Versatrans line
The company appoints Ted Thien senior vice president and general manager of its Versatrans student transportation product line. Thien, who joined the company in 2007, replaces Versatrans President Jim Guzewich, who is retiring.

DALLAS — Ted Thien has been named the senior vice president and general manager of Tyler Technologies Inc.’s Versatrans student transportation product line.
Thien replaces Jim Guzewich, president of Versatrans, who is retiring after 10 years of service.

Thien joined Versatrans as vice president of sales and marketing in 2007. Prior to joining Versatrans, Thien was president and chief operating officer of Fullfilnet and a practice director at Oracle.
Tyler Technologies acquired Versatrans in 2008. Company officials said the Versatrans student transportation software is used by approximately 1,700 clients nationwide.
