We’re getting closer to 2027, which means it’s time for our fifth round of Trailblazers! Know an innovative up-and-comer who’s under 40 and working in student transportation?

Submit a nomination for them! Self-nominations are also eligible.

Nominees can come from any part of the industry, including school districts, contractors, suppliers, OEMs, associations, or other relevant organizations. We’re looking for exemplary young professionals who are already making a difference, supporting their teams, and showing the initiative and leadership needed to keep K-12 transportation safe, efficient, and reliable.

Multiple nominations for the same person are allowed, but the number of nominations will not influence the selection process. We evaluate the strength and story of each nominee individually, so one comprehensive submission is preferred!

Notes & Tips for Nominations

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 39 to qualify. Previous Trailblazer recipients are not eligible to win again.
  • Start early and give yourself time to complete the nomination form. Tell us what makes your nominee stand out and provide specific examples of their accomplishments, growth, and impact. The more we know about them, the better.
  • Consider gathering supporting information from the nominee’s supervisor or colleagues to help tell a complete story.

Send us the Trailblazers you know under 40 for a chance to be recognized by School Bus Fleet as part of our fifth class of emerging industry leaders.
