Transfinder Reports 7% Revenue Increase in 2018
The company marked its 21st consecutive year of sustained revenue growth, officials said. Transfinder also expanded its products and services.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. and AUSTIN, Texas — Transfinder closed 2018 with $14,565,000, up 7% from 2017, company officials said.
The increase in revenue marked the 21st consecutive year of sustained revenue growth for Transfinder, according to the company.
Transfinder added 157 new clients in 2018, including Houston Independent School District.
The school bus routing software developer also expanded its products — including its Routefinder PLUS — and services.
“Our award-winning support team continues to give our clients the care they’ve come to expect, even as the number of clients we have and solutions we implement continues to increase,” said Antonio Civitella, Transfinder’s president and CEO.
In 2018, the company held Transfinder University “On the Road,” a training program for clients to learn how to use Transfinder's routing solutions, in 16 different cities, up from 13 cities in 2017.
The company reported additional highlights in 2018, including:
Being named Best Company to Work for in New York State (ranked No. 27).
Attending 40 trade shows in 21 states, two Canadian provinces, and the UAE.
Sponsoring the Albany Empire, the Arena Football League’s newest team.
Hosting its first Hack Tech Valley 24-hour hackathon at SUNY Schenectady.
