On June 17, Stertil-Koni USA Inc. announced that Lewis Nelson has been appointed new president of the company.

Nelson brings prior experience in commercial excellence and industrial solutions to the vehicle lift provider. He joins Stertil-Koni from Enerpac Tool Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which offered high-force hydraulics and lifting systems. As the global senior director of commercial excellence at Enerpac, Lewis was responsible for leading the company's commercial strategy, which included overseeing sales strategy, customer relationship management (CRM), forecasting, sales performance, operations, technical services, and the Enerpac Academy.

Prior to that, Nelson held several progressively senior positions at Fluke Corporation, a Fortive Company. His experience there included roles in product management, sales, and commercial strategy.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lewis is a U.S. Army combat veteran and a former federal intelligence officer. He completed two combat tours in Iraq and three in Afghanistan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Augsburg University, where he competed in NCAA Division III football and javelin in track and field. He later earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Nelson succeeds Scott Steinhardt, who served as Stertil-Koni president for the past three years. According to the announcement, Steinhardt is departing to pursue a new venture in building a family business outside the heavy-duty vehicle lifting industry.
