HARRODSBURG, Ky. — Buses from Mercer County Schools have been taken for a joyride on at least three occasions in the past 11 days by an unknown suspect, The Advocate-Messenger reports.
The first incident occurred on June 9 when someone stole a bus from the district’s garage and drove it around the parking lot. Last week, between Thursday evening and Friday morning, the same bus was stolen. Between Friday night and Monday morning, one or more suspects took two different buses and drove them about 12 miles.
