BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — A student accused of calling in a false bomb threat on a school bus on Friday will face charges, police said.
The bus was transporting students from Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School, a vocational high school in Taunton. According to Massachusetts State Police, the school received a bomb threat about one of its buses around 2:40 p.m.

The school bus driver pulled into a rest stop in Bridgewater. Massachusetts State Police reported on Twitter that the students were removed, and a bomb squad cleared the bus.
According to CBS Boston, the students were eventually allowed to get their backpacks, and they were transported home on a different bus.
Massachusetts State Police said the investigation determined that the bomb threat came from a passenger on the school bus, and that student will be charged in the incident.
