More Districts Tap Transfinder for Routing, Tracking, and Communication Tools

See which users in Illinois, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania are adopting Transfinder’s routing, tracking, and parent apps.

School districts across the country are turning to integrated routing and communication tools to streamline operations and keep families informed.

In April, Transfinder Corporation announced multiple new users across the United States, with districts adopting various combinations of the company’s products, including Routefinder PLUS and Stopfinder.

Macomb School District 185 in Illinois selected Routefinder PLUS, the parent app Stopfinder, the driver app Wayfinder, the field trip management tool Tripfinder, and Viewfinder. Located 75 miles southwest of Peoria, the school district serves about 2,000 students at two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school.

Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200 in Illinois has selected Transfinder’s award-winning fleet maintenance and inventory management solution, Servicefinder. Located on the western border of Chicago, Oak Park and River Forest High School District 200 is a one-school district of more than 3,200 students, with a majority of its students coming from two districts, River Forest Public Schools and Oak Park Elementary School District 97.

Ottoville Local School District in Ohio selected RouteFinder PLUS as their routing solution. Located in a small village in northwestern Ohio, the district serves about 500 students who attend two schools.

Yonkers Public Schools in New York recently selected Routefinder PLUS, Stopfinder, Tripfinder, Transfinder Hardware, and Viewfinder. Known as the “sixth borough” of New York City, Yonkers is the third most populous city in the state. Yonkers Public Schools serves more than 24,000 students who attend 40 schools.

Penns Valley Area School District in Pennsylvania selected Routefinder PLUS, Stopfinder, and Viewfinder for its operations, serving about 1,300 students across four schools.

Its customizable nature allows districts to adapt the platform to their distinct needs.”

Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 in Pennsylvania selected the company’s routing solution, Routfinder PLUS, and Viewfinder, which provides a bird’s-eye view of the district’s transportation operations. Located in New Oxford, LIU provides adult education, nonpublic school services, business services, educational services, special education, and education technology services for schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations throughout the state.
