TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida Department of Education (DOE) announced its search for a specialist in transporting students with disabilities, preschoolers and other students with special needs.
The position calls for administering projects to improve special-needs transportation services throughout the state. Specific duties include developing educational media for district safety programs, assisting with the planning and conducting of workshops, and consulting with districts on state and federal statutes.
The position is based at the DOE in Tallahassee and involves extensive travel both within Florida and nationally.
