Clean Energy Roadshow Set for Georgia
The first of three events planned in Georgia this fall will showcase electric school buses from Blue Bird and Thomas Built Buses.

The first free, half-day Clean Energy Roadshow event of 2021 kicks off in Peachtree Corners on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
The event combines an outdoor commercial-vehicle showcase and an education seminar, bringing together propane, natural gas, and electric vehicle manufacturers with fleet managers and elected officials from throughout Georgia.
The live event includes a post-event tour of Curiosity Lab, a 5G-enabled autonomous vehicle and smart-city living laboratory featuring the Olli Autonomous shuttle by Local Motors and the Autonom shuttle by Navya.
Also, in a first for Georgia, Blue Bird will show off its EV school bus and Thomas Built will display its Jouley EV school bus at the event.
The seminar, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Eastern, will be streamed for online attendees.
Two more Clean Energy Roadshow events are planned for Macon (Nov. 17) and Savannah (Nov. 18).
The roadshow’s mission is to educate business and government leaders, as well as the public, about the environmental and economic benefits of alternatively fueled fleets and to connect them with the utilities, suppliers, and funding resources who will help them plan for low and zero emissions.
“Georgia is poised to reap millions for fueling infrastructure and diesel mitigation in the immediate future,” said show producer Joy Kramer of Event Energy Partners. “Advance fuel-fit analysis, infrastructure, and replacement cost planning are essential for successful federal grant applications when funding becomes available.”
