District implements new child-check policy for bus drivers
SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — Following an incident wherein a 3-year-old girl was left on a school bus for more than two hours, a local school district has implemented new policies to prevent future occurrences. Under one policy, the district has put child-check reminder signs at the back of school buses, and drivers are required to bring the signs to the front of their buses at the end of the their routes. Student falls out of emergency exit on moving school bus
MIAMI — A 13-year-old student fell out of her school bus though the rear emergency exit last week while the vehicle was moving, reportedly sustaining brain trauma.
