How’s this sweetheart of a deal from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency? Applicants now have until 4 p.m. Eastern on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, to submit their Clean School Bus Program rebate applications.

The EPA extended the application window to provide extra time for prospective applicants to engage with utilities, school boards, and other partners before making their submission.

The agency is offering at least $500 million for electric, propane, and compressed natural gas school buses through the rebate program.
