SEATTLE — Zonar Systems confirmed on Friday that it has filed a patent infringement action against Synovia Solutions LLC.
Zonar is seeking all available remedies, including injunctive relief.

Zonar Systems confirms that it has filed a patent infringement action against Synovia Solutions LLC. In the complaint, Synovia is accused of infringing the patent under which Zonar has developed and deployed its Z Pass student ridership reporting solution.

In the complaint, Synovia is accused of infringing U.S. Patent No. 6,502,030, under which Zonar has developed and deployed its Z Pass solution.
Zonar's Z Pass is an RFID-based bus ridership tracking system that provides school districts or employers with the time, date and location of each entry and exit from the bus.
