CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — The transportation staff at Shenendehowa Central School District recently brushed up on a variety of training topics before the start of the new school year.
The district’s mandated safety refresher, held in late August, covered such issues as hazard communication, sexual harassment, P.J.’s Law (which deals with transporting special-needs students), and how to prevent dragging incidents.
Shenendehowa Central School District’s school year began on Wednesday. The district runs 176 route buses and transports more than 10,000 students daily.
