WARWICK, N.Y. — Trans Tech awarded its 2014 Dealer of the Year Award to Leonard Bus Sales of Deposit, New York.

The manufacturer’s Dealer of the Year Award is based on exceptional dealer performance in several key areas, including customer satisfaction and support, sales and market share growth. Announcement of the award comes as Leonard Bus Sales celebrates 50 years in the bus distribution business.

John Phraner, president of Trans Tech, presented the 2014 Dealer of the Year Award to Leonard Bus Sales President Mike Leonard; Vice President Jon Leonard; Director of Sales and Marketing Frank Continetti; and other members of the Leonard Bus Sales team during a ceremony held at Trans Tech’s corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Warwick, New York, on April 24.

“We are absolutely thrilled to award Leonard Bus Sales with Trans Tech’s Dealer of the Year for the second straight year,” Phraner said. “Leonard Bus Sales continues to be the industry leader by demonstrating the absolute best qualities in customer support and sales. Their commitment to going above and beyond for their customers while growing the Type A school bus market in New York made them the obvious choice for the 2014 Dealer of the Year Award.”

“We are proud to receive Trans Tech’s 2014 Dealer of the Year Award,” Mike Leonard said. “This award is a testament to our 50 years in business and our dedication to our school transportation partners. We could not be happier with our partnership with Trans Tech.”

Leonard Bus Sales is owned and operated by the Leonard family, distributing and supporting school and commercial buses throughout New York state. The company operates its Trans Tech-only facility in Garden City Park, New York, and four full-service facilities across upstate New York in Saratoga Springs, Rome, Bergen and Deposit — their corporate headquarters.

“Time and time again, Leonard Bus Sales has proven they are willing to invest in their customers' success,” Phraner said. “This commitment is epitomized by their Trans Tech-only sales and customer support center in Garden City Park, New York. The facility, which is located in the New York metropolitan area, provides convenience and real value to school districts and pupil transportation companies that choose Trans Tech brand school buses.”
