“Debuting in the top 500 of the Inc. 5000 is an important milestone for our company and our team, demonstrating the growing demand for modern student transportation technology," said Keith Corso, co-founder and CEO of BusRight and a 2026 SBF Trailblazer. “School transportation is the nation's largest public transportation system, yet many districts still rely on outdated processes. Together with our partners in K-12 education, we're modernizing operations with solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen communication, and give families greater confidence in every ride.”

BusRight serves nearly 1 million users across 37 states and is enhancing its platform with new products and services, including BusRight Solutions and Safety Pass.

Zum

Coming in at spot No. 1,091 for 321% growth over three years is private contractor and technology provider Zum.

“Student mobility is the onramp to learning. Before students can benefit from everything that happens inside the classroom, they first have to get there safely and reliably,” said Ritu Narayan, founder and CEO of Zum. “Zum CMX was built to transform a fragmented, outdated system into one connected, real-time experience for students, families, drivers, schools, and districts. Zum’s growth reflects the demand from school districts for a fundamentally better way to deliver student mobility— ultimately expanding access to education. We are honored to be recognized by Inc. alongside companies transforming industries across America.”

Zum continues to scale nationwide, with more than 6,500 schools across 18 states relying on its Connected Mobility Experience.

It’s the third year for the company on the list; last year it made spot No. 1,586.

BusesForSale.com

Used-vehicle marketplace provider BusesForSale.com came in at No. 1,243 this year, up 281%, and ranking sixth in the industry.

“We are proud of the numbers. But we're prouder of why it happened,” the company wrote on LinkedIn. “Buying a bus used to mean a classified listing, a phone tag marathon, and a lot of unanswered questions. We built a marketplace that answers the questions, with real inventory, real buying help, financing, the paperwork handled, and delivery to the door. Thank you to every district, church, charter operator, and fleet manager who trusted us with a purchase this big. You are the reason the number moved.”

It’s the company’s first time on the list. Company CEO Isaac Linson is a 2026 SBF Trailblazer.

Drivergent Transportation

Michigan-based contractor and school bus driver hiring service provider Drivergent Transportation made the list at No. 1,426 for its 247% growth.

In the 2025 list, BusPatrol made spot No. 1,122.

Beacon Mobility

One of the largest contractors, Beacon Mobility, makes the list at No. 2,825 for its 111% growth.

CEO Judith Crawford wrote this on LinkedIn about it: “As I reflect on that recognition, I don't think about rankings. I think about people. We've grown by staying true to who we are: putting people first, living our values, investing in technology like Beacon Connect, and never losing sight of the riders and communities we serve. I'm especially proud that we've shown growth and values can go hand in hand. That's a credit to the thousands of team members across Beacon who care deeply, do the right thing, collaborate, and make a difference every day. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey.”

Transfinder

Tech provider Transfinder returns to the list for the 14th time, this year in spot No. 3648 for its 74% growth. The company closed 2025 with reported $50.15 million, its 28th consecutive year of annual revenue growth.

Transfinder President and CEO Antonio Civitella said each year the tech company works harder to innovate, improve existing solutions, and develop new products to meet the needs and expectations of its clients. The financial results take care of themselves.

“This is a team accomplishment,” Civitella said. “Our development team, our support team, our sales and marketing teams, everyone is laser-focused on serving our clients to the best of our abilities. The result is that we are a trusted partner and they keep turning to us for more solutions.”

Transfinder has also been named among the Best Places to Work, Top Workplaces, and Best Companies to Work for in New York numerous times in recent years.
