CHATHAM, Ontario — A student from St. Ursula Roman Catholic School helped to free his bus driver from a seat belt after the bus flipped over on a muddy road on Monday.
Alex Waddick, 12, followed driver Phil Piggott's instructions and cut him from his seat belt with a knife. Once Piggott was free, he and the five students on board the bus escaped through the emergency roof hatch, The Toronto Sun reports.
