STA Names New VP of Marketing & Communications
The new addition to the contractor's executive leadership team brings change management and brand and market positioning experience from the public transit industry in the new role.

Student Transportation of America (STA) recently announced that Mitun Seguin has joined the company’s leadership team as VP, marketing and communications.
Seguin is a senior marketing and communications executive with 25 years of leadership experience working in the industries of public transportation, technology, and consumer electronics. Most recently, Seguin served as VP of marketing and communications for Transdev, a private operator in the public transit industry.
“I’m looking forward to working with all levels of the STA family to listen, learn, and help advance STA’s mission and further solidify its industry-leading position in the transportation industry,” Seguin said.
Seguin has a M.A. in management communication and marketing from Emerson College in Boston, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. According to the company's announcement, her career has demonstrated a strong ability to enhance brand and market positioning to steer various change management initiatives resulting from acquisitions, and to lead various strategic initiatives to build brand and company culture.
