HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania School Bus Association (PSBA) has given its website a new look and mission and has expanded its presence on social media.
The association’s new website, www.paschoolbus.org, went live recently and will include content of interest to the school transportation industry as well as the general public, PSBA officials said.
“The new website provides us with an opportunity to educate and inform the public about the school transportation industry,” said Mike Berk, PSBA’s executive director. “A section on the site is dedicated to providing information for parents and schools. We receive a great number of questions from parents, school districts and transportation directors, and we are hoping our website can serve as a resource in the future.”
The new site contains a number of content-specific sections, including dedicated pages covering safety information and special-needs transportation. An exclusive section of the website will continue to be available to PSBA members with industry-specific resources and information.
“The new design of our website is more reflective of our industry and association,” PSBA President Blake Krapf said. “The first image you see when visiting the PSBA website shows three students alongside a school bus. Providing the highest degree of safety for schoolchildren is the first and foremost mission of our members and the PSBA.”
PSBA has also expanded its presence on social media. Those who are interested can now follow the association on Facebook and on Twitter.
