BYRON CENTER, Mich. — Mobile video solutions supplier Pro-Vision Video Systems has released a new DVR and interior cameras for school buses.
The 900 Series Hybrid HD DVR’s system combines 1080p HD recording and observation technology in one device with the goal of providing an improved field-of-view for video coverage, according to a news release from the supplier.
The 900 Series Hybrid HD DVR simultaneously records video and provides exterior camera views on an in-cab monitor — including the rear and blind spot views — in 1080p HD resolution to prevent accidents and capture incident video.
As part of the new system release, Pro-Vision has also released a new line of interior cameras designed for school bus applications, including the Pro-Vision AHD Mini-Dome Camera. The cameras are designed to capture the widest vertical and horizontal field-of-view, and feature 1080p HD resolution and night vision recording.
“Our mission is to make the journey to and from school safer for everyone,” said Corey Mathews, director of sales for the transit division at Pro-Vision. “With this new system, schools have the tools they need to enhance safety in and around their buses in one simple device. Every child deserves to be safe when they ride the school bus, and this system was designed with that sole focus in mind.”
