RICHMOND, Va. — The state pupil transportation directors’ annual gathering this year will be held Nov. 8-11 in Richmond.
Leon Langley, Maryland state director and president of the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS), announced the conference details in a letter to members on Thursday.
As with the 2014 event, this year’s NASDPTS conference will overlap with the National Association for Pupil Transportation Summit, which is slated for Nov. 6-10 in Richmond.
In determining this year’s conference dates, Langley said that NASDPTS gathered input from state directors, Supplier Council members, and State and National Associations Council members. He noted that many cited the importance of limiting members’ time out of the office during the week.
Diana Hollander, Nevada state director and NASDPTS president-elect, has begun making preparations for the conference.
