Michigan Association Announces 2026 Award Winners

The Michigan Association for Pupil Transportation (MAPT) celebrated its members in pupil transportation throughout the Great Lakes State at its 61st annual conference. The winners were named July 2, 2026, at the event held at Boyne Mountain Resort.
The annual MAPT awards celebrate the dedicated individuals who keep Michigan’s students safe and supported every day.
Who Won the 2026 MAPT Awards?
- School Bus Attendant of the Year: Laurie Sneden, Hudsonville Public Schools
- School Bus Driver of the Year: Matt Hunt, Oakridge Public Schools
- Presidential Award: Midwest Transit Equipment (MTE)
- Transportation Supervisor of the Year: Kim Foss, Macomb ISD
- Technician of the Year: Doug Orr, Milan Area Schools
- Administrator of the Year: Stephanie Jordan, Mattawan Consolidated School District
Winners were chosen from nominations and reviewed by the judging panel anonymously.
