Forsythe serves as industry expert in consulting project
The contractor provided school bus industry best practices for a Middle Eastern bus company that recently won contracts to transport 500,000 girls to school, and also developed a strategic plan to help the company in its service.
JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia — School bus contractor Forsythe Transportation has completed a consulting project, serving as the school bus industry subject matter expert for Hafil Transport, the largest private bus company in Saudi Arabia.
Hafil Transport is a division of the Mohammed Y. Naghi Group. For the past 10 years, Hafil's primary business has been transporting 39 percent of the 3 million Islamic tourists who visit during hajj, the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
Hafil recently won contracts to transport more than 500,000 girls to school every day in five regions of the kingdom.
Forsythe Transportation assisted KPMG, a global network of firms that provide audit, tax and advisory services, in documenting the current policies and procedures of Hafil. Forsythe then tailored the school bus industry's best practices for Hafil operations and provided a strategic plan to assist Hafil in its transformation.
