Florida’s Don Ross named general manager of LBS South
Ross joined the school bus dealership in April as service director after working for more than 13 years at the School District of Manatee County in several roles, including director of transportation and vehicle maintenance. In his new role, Ross will be responsible for the management, oversight and strategic direction of LBS South.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Don Ross has been named general manager of LBS South LLC, and in the role, he will be responsible for the management, oversight and strategic direction of the school bus dealership.
Ross joined LBS South in April as service director.
“Don has proven himself as an outstanding leader within the LBS South family and as someone who personifies our commitment to our customers,” LBS South President Mike Leonard said. “I have no doubt that with Don Ross as general manager, LBS South will continue to grow and be an industry leader in customer support and vehicle service.”
Since joining LBS South as service director in April, officials said Ross has taken on many additional duties and responsibilities, establishing himself as an invaluable part of the organization.
Prior to working at LBS South, Ross worked for more than 13 years at the School District of Manatee County in Bradenton, Fla., where he served in several positions, including director of transportation and vehicle maintenance.
