Fleet expert Don Ross joins bus dealership LBS South
Ross is named service director for the school bus dealership in Jacksonville, Fla. He previously worked for the School District of Manatee County for more than 13 years in several positions, including director of transportation and vehicle maintenance.

Don Ross, previously of Florida’s School District of Manatee County, has been named service director for LBS South.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Fleet management veteran Don Ross has been named the new service director for LBS South.
Ross joins the school bus dealership from the School District of Manatee County in Bradenton, Fla., where he served for more than 13 years in several positions, including director of transportation and vehicle maintenance.
“While our customers across Florida are already getting industry-leading service and support, it will only get better with the addition of Don Ross,” LBS South President Mike Leonard said. “Don brings impeccable experience that combines world-class business skill and an in-depth knowledge of the needs of school districts. He will make sure our customers get the support and fleet management advice they deserve.”
Prior to his time with the School District of Manatee County, Ross spent 17 years with a Fortune 500 company in senior management.
As the service director for LBS South, which distributes IC Bus and Trans Tech buses, Ross will be a member of the dealership’s senior management team. He officially began with LBS South on Monday.
