WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Durham School Services has acquired Vogel Bus Company Inc. Vogel was founded in 1953 and serves 40 customers throughout New Jersey with a fleet of approximately 195 buses.
Vogel has approximately 250 employees and provides service in Sussex, Essex, Morris, Union, Middlesex and Somerset counties. According to company officials, the acquisition will allow Durham to increase market presence in New Jersey and continue to achieve growth goals.
“We are excited to welcome Vogel’s team of employees to our organization,” said Sean Broderick, region vice president. “We look forward to building partnerships with Vogel’s customers by continuing to provide excellent service throughout New Jersey.”
“Durham School Services has vast national resources and a strong commitment to customer service that I know will be a great benefit to both Vogel’s customers and employees,” Vogel CEO Jerry Conlin added.
Durham School Services completed the acquisition on Monday and has begun the process of integrating the company.
