Summit School Services Welcomes Jim Wojciechowski Jr. as Senior Vice President of Safety

Summit School Services introduced James (Jim) Wojciechowski Jr. as its new senior vice president of safety. Wojciechowski will lead the safety team in advancing comprehensive safety strategies, programs, policies, and training initiatives, while providing strategic direction to drive effective implementation, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance across the company.

Wojciechowski brings an extensive career in safety leadership and has a proven track record of success in steering measurable improvements in safety performance and operational excellence. Prior to joining Summit, he served as the senior vice president of safety and industrial engineering at RATP Dev USA. He also served in similar capacities at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and Amtrak, and is a proud military veteran, which he cites as the key reason for his interest in joining the student transportation industry.

Zum Appoints Matthew Klein VP of Software Sales

Zūm announced the appointment of Matthew Klein as vice president of software sales, strengthening its team as Zum scales its AI-powered Zum CMX solution nationwide.

Prior to Zum, Klein spent eight years building and leading Coursera’s government business, scaling it to help governments reskill citizens and public workforces. He began his career in public health with the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Klein holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a BA in political science from Haverford College.

“I come from an EdTech background, and Zum’s mission immediately resonated with me,” Klein said. “Reliable student mobility is fundamental to access to education, and Zum has built technology that is dramatically improving the experience for students, families and school districts while making the underlying system more efficient. Student Transportation of America's Cameron Nazemzadeh Promoted

The second-largest contractor announced on LinkedIn that Cameron Nazemzadeh has been promoted to senior vice president of operations for California, where he will continue leading our the company and its Mission School Transportation operations throughout the state.

Nazemzadeh has been part of STA for three years as a VP. The company says he has been making great strides building a cohesive team focused on delivering safe, reliable, and consistent service in its California operations.

Speaking to why he loves his job, he said: "Out here in California, the majority of the work we do is special needs work. My wife’s brother has cerebral palsy, and he was a part of that system. Specialized transportation was provided for him to get to school. ... Our drivers are amazing, — and being a part of the community, those are the things that actually do matter. That’s why I wanted to come to STA. The work we do truly does create a positive impact. At the end of the day, it’s not really about buses or routes. It’s about helping students get where they need to be so they can learn, grow, and succeed."

Previously, Nazemzadeh was in medical supply distribution.

Cummins Appoints James Hopkins VP of Financial Planning, Capital Management and Investor Relations

Cummins Inc. has appointed James Hopkins to the newly created role of vice president – financial planning, capital management and investor relations, effective Sept. 1, 2026.

In this role, Hopkins will lead the company's financial planning, forecasting, target-setting, internal reporting, and analysis activities, while overseeing capital expenditures and investor engagement. He will also work closely with business segment controllers and finance teams across Cummins to help drive strong financial performance and support the company's long-term strategic priorities.

"Throughout his career, James has demonstrated strong financial leadership, broad business knowledge and a deep commitment to developing people," said Mark Smith, VP and CFO. "His experience across finance, strategy, investor relations, and operations, combined with his strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders, make him exceptionally well suited for this role."

In his previous role as VP of engine business finance & strategy, Hopkins applied his finance and strategy expertise to support one of Cummins’ core businesses. He is also deeply committed to developing the next generation of finance leaders and strengthening talent across the organization.

Hopkins earned an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a bachelor's degree in finance, business economics and public policy from Indiana University.

Transit Technologies Appoints Kristen Shaheen Chief Legal Officer

Transit Technologies announced the appointment of Kristen Shaheen as chief legal officer. Reporting directly to CEO Gerry Leonard, Shaheen will lead Transit Technologies’ legal function and oversee human resources and governance, risk & compliance, expanding her mandate beyond traditional legal responsibilities to support the company’s next stage of growth. 

Shaheen brings a proven track record of building legal teams for high-growth, PE-backed technology companies, experience she has replicated multiple times in her career. She is known for sound judgment, disciplined execution, and a cross-functional partnership style that adds value well beyond traditional legal work, the company said.

“Kristen stood out for her combination of clear judgment, strong execution, and leadership presence,” said Gerry Leonard, CEO of Transit Technologies. “She is clear, direct, and highly effective — exactly the kind of leader we needed as we continue to strengthen our operating foundation and prepare for our next stage of growth.” 

Shaheen is based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her appointment is part of a broader leadership build-out.

Changes in Driventic’s Executive Board

Driventic announced the following changes to its executive board: Chief Executive Officer Dr. Gregor Wiche will leave the company on Sept. 30, 2026. Christoph Günter will succeed him as CEO effective Sept. 1, 2026.

Günter has held positions at MAN Commercial Vehicles and Knorr-Bremse, most recently serving as president EMEA at SAF-HOLLAND, where he had overall responsibility for the region’s operations.

In addition, Stefan Bude will take over as chief financial officer effective Nov. 1, 2026, succeeding Interim CFO Anja Wetzel. Bude has more than 25 years of experience in international leadership roles in the automotive and industrial sectors. Most recently, he served as CFO of Orise. He will bring this extensive experience in international business management and finance to Driventic.

Cadex COO Riley Pentecost Appointed to Commercial Collection Agencies of America Board

Cadex Solutions Corporation announced that Chief Operating Officer Riley Pentecost has been appointed to the board of directors of Commercial Collection Agencies of America (CCA of A). Pentecost will serve as an at-large board member for a two-year term.

Commercial Collection Agencies of America brings together commercial collection agencies, creditors' rights attorneys, and law list publishers with a mission to elevate standards and uphold professionalism in the commercial collection industry.

Pentecost brings more than 30 years of global business process outsourcing experience to the CCA of A Board. Since joining Cadex's leadership team in April 2021, he has overseen global operations and played a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and positioning the company for continued growth.
