Transit Technologies, a provider of public and private mobility technology, has acquired another student transportation software company: busHIVE.
The acquisition will allow Transit Technologies to integrate trip and charter management capabilities into its K-12 solutions.
About BusHIVE’s Management Software
BusHIVE is a transportation management software provider that offers customizable solutions designed to enhance operational efficiency for school bus contractors, school districts, and motorcoach operators.
With the busHIVE platform, Transit Technologies will address critical aspects of transportation management, including trip and charter management, personnel and driver compliance, and vehicle preventative maintenance.
Transit Technologies will now offer streamlined trip and charter scheduling and dispatching, monitoring and management of driver qualifications, certifications, and compliance requirements, and tools for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities, inventory management, and work order generation.
BusHIVE’s software assists transportation operations to organize workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance data accessibility.
“By integrating busHIVE's advanced platform, we are not just streamlining operations; we're setting new benchmarks for what transit systems can achieve,” Gerry Leonard, CEO of Transit Technologies, said in a statement. “We are very excited about the significant value busHIVE will add to Transit Technologies ... and is a perfect complement to our acquisition of Chicago-based ByteCurve."
This acquisition follows the company’s acquisition of Bytecurve in August last year.
BusHIVE owners announced on social media that they were retiring after 28 years as of March 1. "It was a great journey, but we are ready for a new adventure," they said in their post.
