SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Attendance solutions supplier CI Solutions has joined Transfinder Corp.’s Marketplace, a one-stop shop designed for schools seeking to enhance efficiency and safety within their transportation departments.

Launched in 2016, the Marketplace highlights vendors with products in areas such as attendance, camera technology, GPS, fleet maintenance, parent portals, professional services, social media, tablet technology, and training that can integrate with Transfinder’s offerings.

"We are excited to have Card Integrators Corp., d.b.a. CI Solutions, join our growing family of Marketplace Partners,” said Antonio Civitella, president and CEO of Transfinder Corp. “As more and more schools today utilize technology to take attendance and notify parents of bus arrivals, Transfinder is fast becoming the system of record to manage student transportation information. CI Solutions is the expert in managing the creation and tracking of student ID cards. The integration between CI Solutions and Transfinder makes it easier for schools to produce and manage the entire student ID card production."

Mark Cole, president of Los Alamitos, California-based CI Solutions, said the 23-year-old company continues to expand its integrated RFID enrollment solutions into the K-12 market.

"We look forward to working with Transfinder via their marketplace platform to offer RFID card issuance and enrollment solutions for the K-12 market,” Cole said. “The value of pupil transit solutions continues to expand and CI Solutions brings over 20 years of experience with technology-based ID card issuance programs to smooth out the challenges of accurate and efficient RFID card production and issuance."

Transfinder and CI Solutions, along with Zonar Systems, another Marketplace Partner, demonstrated the Marketplace concept in one district where data stored in Transfinder’s Routefinder Pro has been integrated with CI Solution’s CI Badge and Zonar’s Z Pass. CI Badge software is designed to view the data in Routefinder Pro, share pictures from the student information system, and auto-enroll the RFID card value to Zonar Systems.
