American School Bus Council to Search for New Coordinator
Markus Videnieks leaves ASBC after serving in the role since 2012. The council will launch a search for his replacement soon.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — After about three years with the American School Bus Council (ASBC), Markus Videnieks has left his coordinator post to pursue other opportunities.
“The associations and companies who serve on the Council wish to thank Mr. Videnieks for his dedicated service to the Council since 2012 and for his assistance to all those who benefit from ASBC’s products and services,” ASBC said in a statement.

Videnieks came to ASBC in November 2012 after working as a vice president at a government relations firm in Washington, D.C.

ASBC is a coalition of student transportation associations and school bus manufacturers. Members include NAPT, NASDPTS, NSTA, Blue Bird, IC Bus, and Thomas Built Buses.
