Linehan was driving the students to an elementary school, stopped the bus when he smelled smoke, and evacuated the children as flames spread. There were only very minor injuries.

Ed Bobit, founder and chairman of Bobit Business Media, which publishes Automotive Fleet, School Bus Fleet magazine and many other media brands, passed away Sunday morning at the age of 86. Last summer Bobit had undergone valve-replacement surgery and had been working primarily from home. He died peacefully in his sleep.
