Texas PTA praised for providing 'clean bus' grants

The Micro Bird president says that liquid propane power has “excellent cold start capability and quiet power when needed for the steepest hills.” The Blue Bird Propane-Powered Micro Bird by Girardin is scheduled to be offered for sale starting this month, with production beginning toward the end of this year.

Los Angeles district buys Thomas Built CNG units

The 130 Saf-T-Liner HDX buses will join Los Angeles Unified School District’s fleet of more than 300 alternative-fueled school buses. The district’s transportation department, which currently operates the largest CNG fleet in California, only accepts bids for buses that operate on alternative fuels.
