Read More →Pasco County (Fla.) Schools bus assistant James Lambert was charged with two counts of child abuse after allegedly striking a 10-year-old boy for cursing. The district had planned to start the process of terminating his employment, according to a spokeswoman. Lambert had been reprimanded multiple times in the past; however, in none of those instances was he accused of hitting a child.

Funding from investors comes as the second Motiv Power Systems-equipped Trans Tech all-electric school bus is delivered to Kings Canyon Unified School District in Reedley, California. High School campus and drove it onto the athletic field of Southwest Virginia Community College. Officials are looking into how one of the adults apparently obtained the keys used to operate the bus.
Read More →Last week, the Wisconsin School Bus Association named Steve Linehan Wisconsin School Bus Driver of the Year and presented him with a plaque at a luncheon. Linehan was driving the students to an elementary school, stopped the bus when he smelled smoke, and evacuated the children as flames spread. There were only very minor injuries.
