We're closer to 2026 than you think, which means it's time for our fourth round of Trailblazers! Know an innovative up-and-comer who's under 40 and working in student transportation

Nominees can be from any arm of the industry, including school districts, contractors, suppliers, OEMs, associations, or other relevant entities. We're seeking exemplary young leaders who are already making a positive impact, advancing their teams, and demonstrating initiative and leadership to make K-12 transportation safe, efficient, and reliable.

Multiple nominations for the same individual are allowed, but quantity will have no bearing on the decision. The selection process assesses the individual strength and story of each nominee. We actually prefer one comprehensive submission!

Notes & Tips for Nominations

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 39 to qualify. Please reference past year's winners via the links below; only individuals who have not previously won will be considered.

  • Start early and take your time filling out the nomination form. Present a compelling narrative about the nominee. The more we know about them, the better. We recommend gathering permission and a quote or letter from the nominee’s supervisor.

  • The evaluation and selection process will happen in early February; a SBF editor will notify both the nominator and winner shortly after.

Send in the trailblazers you know under 40 for a chance for them to grace the pages of School Bus Fleet's April/May 2026 print magazine and be recognized on our website.
