SEATTLE — Zonar is offering a New Year’s registration discount for its annual conference, THE ZONE. Attendees who register for THE ZONE by Jan. 31 will receive a 10% discount.

The conference takes place from April 22 to 24 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.

The event offers two full days of learning and networking with more than 50 educational sessions and numerous training opportunities, according to Zonar. Attendees will hear from industry experts about the future of transportation technology and attend breakout sessions to help fleets improve safety, compliance and efficiency. There is also a technology vendor fair and the opportunity to work one-on-one with Zonar specialists in the interactive computer learning lab, company officials said.

“THE ZONE brings together fleet managers and technology users from a variety of different industries,” said Andrew Johnson, Zonar’s vice president of marketing. “Through keynotes, breakout sessions and networking events, attendees collaboratively learn valuable new tools and insights they can apply immediately.”

Entertainment at THE ZONE 2014 includes The Zonar Golf Classic and a San Antonio City Tour on April 22. The conference kicks off the evening of April 22 with a welcome reception and evening entertainment from acclaimed entertainer Joe Piscopo, as previously reported. On the evening of April 23, Zonar will host the annual Zonar Gala at Pat O’Brien’s for an evening of networking and fun.

“The pace of transportation technology is moving very quickly,” Johnson said. “It is important for fleet professionals to step away from day-to-day work to think strategically and learn new best practices. THE ZONE provides an opportunity to help fleets plan for future technology while collaborating with peers.”

Register and learn more about THE ZONE 2014 at www.zonarsystems.com/thezone2014. When registering, use the code “newyear” to receive the 10% discount.
