Officials from Elmore County (Ala.) Public Schools will discuss their implementation of digital two-way radios integrated with GPS and the WAVE smartphone app. The district used the technology to connect its schools and more than 150 school buses district-wide.
The speakers will be Dr. Andre Harrison, superintendent of Elmore County Public Schools, Ray Mullino, transportation coordinator, and Barbara Burchard, chief technology officer.
The webinar, titled “Drive School Safety with Unified Communications,” will be moderated by School Bus Fleet and presented by Motorola Solutions. It will take place on Thursday, May 12, at 11 a.m. Pacific/2 p.m. Eastern.
