DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. — Transportation Sector Consultants Inc. (TSC) has added two school transportation industry veterans and one longtime educator as new members to its advisory board.

Richard Jacobs, Robert Pudlewski and Dr. Jerry Bartee have agreed to serve on the newly formed board and will look to use their expertise to assist TSC’s growing number of school district customers.

“We are excited to welcome Rich, Bob and Jerry to TSC. Each brings vast knowledge and expertise in pupil transportation which will be very beneficial to our customers,” said Pete Pearson, president of TSC. “These are great initial additions to the growing team of advisory board members that we are building. We will continue to add qualified members to assist school transportation officials with the many challenges affecting their operations. This is a critical time for school district business officials and administrators to take advantage of the innovation and technology that is available without incurring large-scale purchases.”

Richard Jacobs brings 40 years of experience in school transportation and public school administration to the TSC advisory board. He began his career at Boston Public Schools as a teacher from 1974 to 1978.

Robert Pudlewski adds his 50 years of school bus industry experience to the TSC advisory board. He served the past three decades as vice president of Laidlaw Education Services Inc.; ran Fleet OPS Consulting LLC, a school bus operations, performance and safety consulting company; and has served as a board member for the New York State School Bus Contractors Association and the National School Transportation Association.

Dr. Jerry Bartee joins the TSC advisory board as a 35-year educator with Omaha Public Schools. He began as a substitute teacher in 1980 and eventually became the assistant superintendent of district operational services for the district before retiring in 2014.
