The company will hold its Third Annual Client Conference this Thursday through Saturday in Albany, N.Y. Officials say attendees will participate in classroom and hands-on computer sessions devoted to using Transfinder's suite of software solutions, and a one-day management session is being offered as well.
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Transfinder is holding its Third Annual Client Conference this Thursday through Saturday, with Timothy Kremer, executive director of the New York State School Boards Association, scheduled to give the keynote address.
The conference will be held at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, N.Y.
Company officials expect close to 200 school transportation officials from more than 110 school districts in 26 states and Canada to attend. They will participate in more than 30 classroom and hands-on computer sessions devoted to using Transfinder's suite of software solutions.
In addition to the main conference, Transfinder is offering a one-day management session titled "Managing Your Transportation Operation," led by Dan Roberts, director of professional services for Transfinder. Transportation directors and business managers will have the chance to participate in this workshop, which will focus on various management issues that affect effectiveness and efficiency in their operations.
"I am very happy that we are able to consistently offer our clients, in any level of experience with our products or management position, the hands-on training they need to be the most successful at their district," Transfinder President and CEO Antonio Civitella said.
Civitella went on to say that the conference offers attendees an opportunity to meet with their peers from all over the country and hold "valuable discussions with business managers who can apply a different perspective to the issues facing districts.”
