HIGH POINT, N.C. — Last week, television show host John Ratzenberger selected Thomas Built Buses to serve as the subject for an upcoming episode of his "Made in America" series.
Ratzenberger chose the company based on its economic impact in the community, the unique nature of its business and its contribution to U.S. culture as an American-made product.
During filming for the episode, Ratzenberger toured Thomas Built’s facilities, interviewed the employees who assemble the buses and participated in the manufacturing process of other Thomas Built products.
"John Ratzenberger’s Made in America" visits nearly 40 manufacturing facilities and iconic American locations each year. It airs weekdays at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT on The Travel Channel.
