HIGH POINT, N.C. — Thomas Built Buses and parent company Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) have pledged $100,000 to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point as part of the DaimlerCares program.

Through this program, DTNA partners with each of its locations to serve nonprofit organizations in local communities.

“As part of our ongoing support of the High Point community, we are pleased to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point in 2018,” said Caley Edgerly, president and CEO of Thomas Built Buses. “Together, we will expand the reach and impact of the Boys & Girls Clubs in this community so even more children and teens have a safe and fun place to play, learn, grow, and become their best selves.”

The donation will allow the Boys & Girls Clubs to invest in transportation and facility improvements, staff and board training, and program enhancements that are expected to result in safer, more enjoyable learning experiences for the families they serve.

“The support of Thomas Built Buses will allow our organization to increase the number of children and teens who are served by us,” said Bo Hedrick, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point. “Their support will also provide a higher-quality club experience to our members and ultimately place our organization in a position where its value to the High Point community continues its path of sustainability and growth.”
