Starcraft Bus named a top account for Ford
The school and shuttle bus manufacturer was the top volume pool account in the bus category for Ford in 2012, an accomplishment the company has held for seven consecutive years. Starcraft purchases and sells Ford E350/E450 and F550/F650 bus chassis, and it attributes its success to an increasing demand for shuttle buses during the economic recovery in the U.S. and having an excellent dealer network.
GOSHEN, Ind. — Starcraft Bus was the top volume pool account in the bus category for Ford in 2012, the company recently announced.
For seven consecutive years, Starcraft Bus has purchased and sold more Ford E350/E450 and F550/F650 bus chassis than any other bus manufacturer in America. Starcraft attributes its ongoing success to an increasing demand for shuttle buses during the economic recovery in the U.S. and having an excellent dealer network.
“We are proud to receive this award from Ford for the seventh year in a row and believe this is a reflection of the high quality product that we deliver utilizing the Ford chassis,” said David Wright, president of Starcraft Bus. “We continue to raise the bar in quality, safety and customer satisfaction and are proud to partner with Ford and their tough, time-tested, E-Series and F-Series chassis. Ford continues to strive for quality and reliability in every chassis it builds, and we anticipate an ongoing partnership with Ford for many years in the future.”
Starcraft Bus, a division of Forest River Inc., is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Starcraft Bus builds on Ford, GM and International chassis and is ADA compliant, QVM certified, ISO certified and Altoona-tested.
